Pub's in Castellana-Norte

El Paseo de la Castellana is one of the principal pools of Madrid's night-life, the axis that crosses the capital of north on south. This area includes some of the greatest landmarks in Madrid. The zone of Azca, an area created in the 70s inspired by the 'Big Apple' of New York, with buildings like Tower Picasso, the BBVA building and the Tower Europe, opposite to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

A little more to the north, you will find Las Torres Kio, Puerta de Europa and a new skyscraper which is currently being built on top of the former training ground of Real Madrid.

This area between the two towers of Picasso and Kio (as it states in the second book of "Lord of the Rings") is the perfect place for chilling out around several distinct zones.

Along Azca and in Orense Street there are almost a dozen music pubs and clubs, where the 'reaggeton' style of music is the star of the night. As you walk further along La Castellana the atmosphere changes.

Madrileños (Madrid's habitants) go for dinner in some of the famous restaurants placed in Santiago Bernabeu, and, to help the digestion of their food, hang out in and around the many pubs in the zone, where the cocktails are the main pull.

Don't forget to visit this zone, you won't regret it.
